Outreach
Outreach to the community has been an important part of the Garden Club’s mission since the Club began in 1934. The Garden Club helped landscape Risley Park, and participated in the Adopt-A-Road program for many years. Established a garden club at Royalton Place (an Assisted Living Facility), beautified the landscaping at the historical Our Lady of Grace Church in Jennings Lodge and donated funds for many years to The Oregon Garden, Leach Botanical Gardens, and Oral Hull Foundation.
Our focus at this time is to fund scholarships for horticulture students through Clackamas Community College. We appreciate these students and honor them at our annual June meetings.
