Risley Landing Gardens on the Willamette River is available for event rental! It is ideal for Weddings, Reunions, Parties, and Meetings with the following useful amenities:

Facilities:

  1. The Gazebo seats a maximum of 35 people on built-in benches with room for additional tables.
    Two water faucets are located outside on the south corners. Two electrical outlets are located inside on each corner. Red reset button restores power.
  2. The historic Landing Depot foundation (20×30 feet) has seating and a view of the Willamette River.
  3. Riverbank Terrace area (30×60 feet) is level for tables, etc. and has a clear view of the Willamette River. There is no beach/river access.
  4. An open area (25 x 80 feet) under a large Douglas fir tree next to the paved driveway can be used for gathering/seating.
  5. There is a unisex single toilet restroom. An outside electrical outlet is on the southwest corner.

Requirements to Confirm Rental of the Risley Landing Gardens:

  1. A signed User Consent Form.
  2. A Certificate of Liability from the renter’s insurance company specifying coverage for the date of the event. This must be submitted two weeks prior to reserved date. If not, Oak Grove Garden Club, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the reservation and to keep the deposit.
  3. A check payable to Oak Grove Garden Club, Inc. for the full agreed contract amount.

Regulations:

  1. The Gardens may not be rented by any individual or for-profit group for profit-motivated activities or for political or related campaign activities.
  2. Any damage to the lawn, sprinkler heads, garden beds, riverbank terrace, or other parts of the park will be the liability of the renter and will be charged to the renter.
  3. No smoking is permitted on the premises.
  4. Barbecuing (propane only), fires, and use of candles (only in glass containers) must receive written permission.
  5. No fireworks of any kind are allowed.
  6. No pets, leashed or carried, are allowed except certified service animals.
  7. No loud music or loud noises are permitted in consideration for our neighbors. Please confine music to the Landing area.
  8. No motorcycles, skateboards, rollerblades, etc. are permitted in the Gardens during an event.
